How to Get Started

Step One:
Complete and submit the on-line application or contact June Borlé at 604-874-4429 or toll-free 888-880-2266. Trusted Advisor will call back to complete a fact find ensuring the information received is correct and to select the best Trustee to manage your Trust.

Step Two:
Once the $200 application fee is received Trusted Advisor will inform you by email that your application has been forwarded to Trustee to process the Trust Documents which you will receive within 10-15 business days. This email will also have forms attached that will need to be completed with Trusted Advisor by phone or appointment when Trust Documents are received.

Step Three:
When Trust Documents are received you must sign off and return to Trustee along with the completed enrollment forms. You may also submit a claim at the same time.

Our experience shows that a Health & Welfare Trust works best when regular monthly contributions are made, however, you can also pay when submitting a claim.

Once set up, a Health & Welfare Trust runs smoothly!

How to Submit a Claim

Complete the on-line fillable claim form that calculates everything for you or the manual form and forward to the Claims Department (keep a copy of receipts for your records) originals must be sent for adjudication. Once claim is received the Trustee will either send you a cheque or reimburse your personal bank account through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) within 10 business days.

Optional Recommended Addition

Stop Loss In-Province/Travel Medical Coverage - Provides excess medical coverage on top of Provincial Plan plus out of Province Coverage travelling anywhere in the world. This is not compulsory for incorporated business owners but most Corporations take advantage of this insurance for it is quite inexpensive for what it covers and is good risk management.
