Health & Welfare Trusts (HWT) have been around under current legislation for over 25 years.  This is an amazingly flexible plan and a great alternative to group insurance.  It can be used to reward Business Owners and Executives, either to enhance their current benefits or cover medical costs that are not offered through their insurance plan.
